Palm Beach County · Jupiter
Jupiter's golf and waterfront communities want landscape walls that match the palette — and every one runs an approval board we clear for you.
From Admirals Cove to the Loxahatchee Club, most of Jupiter's homes sit inside gated golf and waterfront communities built in the 1990s and 2000s. The wall work here is usually landscape-driven — raised planter walls that frame the entry, low garden walls that terrace a sloped side yard, and seat walls that turn a patio into an outdoor room. The look has to fit the community, so material and color matter as much as structure.
The catch in Jupiter is the architectural review board. Nearly every community here has one, and it decides the color, the cap and the face material you are allowed on a wall. We prepare the ARB submittal with the wall spec and drawings so it clears the first time, then pull the Town of Jupiter permit.
On the water — the Intracoastal, the inlet, the canals — salt and grade both matter. Where a lot steps down toward the water we build the retaining wall for the load with drainage behind it, and where it is purely decorative we still seal the stone against the salt so the face holds its color.
Most Jupiter wall projects run through a community architectural review board before the Town permit — we manage both, and match the cap and face material to the community palette.
Yes — that is a standard part of the job here. We prepare the ARB package with the wall face, cap and color, get the community sign-off, and only then order material and pull the Town of Jupiter permit.
We build to the community approved palette. Bring us the guidelines and we spec raised planter walls or low garden walls in a stone or block that meets them while still looking custom to your home.
If the grade is holding soil back, yes. We build a segmental block or stone-veneer retaining wall with a compacted base and a weep-and-drainage system behind it, so it holds the grade near the water without bulging.
It depends on the length, height, material and site prep, which is why the on-site visit and written estimate are free and itemized. Financing through Wisetack is available so the budget does not decide the timeline.
