Jupiter's waterfront and golf-community pools sit inside a gated ARB world — we handle the approval and build a cool, non-slip deck for the Intracoastal salt.
From Admirals Cove to the Loxahatchee Club, most of Jupiter's pools sit inside gated golf and waterfront communities built in the 1990s and 2000s. The decks are dated rather than destroyed, so the job is as much about the look — matching the community palette and lifting the whole backyard — as it is about the base. Cool-underfoot travertine and marble are the natural choice for a pool deck people cross barefoot all summer.
The catch in Jupiter is the architectural review board. Nearly every community here has one, and it decides the color, pattern and coping you are allowed on the pool deck. We prepare the ARB submittal with the paver spec and drawings so it clears the first time, then pull the Town of Jupiter permit and meet the pool-barrier code.
On the water — the Intracoastal, the inlet, the canals — salt is constant and many of these pools run a salt-chlorine system. We seal the deck for the salt, set the coping around the pool edge cleanly, and grade the surface so water runs off the deck and away from the house instead of pooling by the coping.
Most Jupiter pool decks run through a community architectural review board before the Town permit — we manage both, set the coping to the community rules, and grade drainage away from the pool.
Yes — that is a standard part of the job here. We prepare the ARB package (paver color, pattern, coping and drawings), get the community sign-off, and only then order material, pull the Town of Jupiter permit and meet the pool-barrier code.
We build to the community approved palette. Bring us the guidelines and we spec a pool deck and coping that meet them while still looking custom — usually a cool travertine or marble that suits a barefoot waterfront deck.
Not a sealed one. We seal travertine and marble so the salt and pool chemistry bead off, and any piece near the coping that ever weathers or settles can be lifted and reset with no visible patch — something you cannot do with a poured deck.
It depends on size, material and site prep, which is why the on-site visit and written estimate are free and itemized. Financing through Wisetack is available so the budget does not decide the timeline.
